Greek Mythology Short Film | “Looking Down”
Sitting high on the peaks of Mount Olympus, the Goddesses Athena and Demeter and the Titan Prometheus debate the value of the humans that Zeus has created. Drawing from Greek mythology, environmentalism, and philosophy, Looking Down presents three gods who are jealous, flawed, and afraid, and must now face the ascending rule of humans.
Looking Down premiered at Pomona College as a short play, where it won a place at the Elemental Arts Initiative Short Play Festival under the direction of Allegra Breedlove.
This film version from Mad Manatee Productions, the makers of the web series End Times, brings a new cast into the lead roles and sets them in the beautiful forests of the Pacific Northwest.
